Wattle Range communities are well served by libraries situated at Millicent (Central Branch) Penola School Community Library, a Mobile Library service and branches at Nangwarry, Kalangadoo and Beachport. Wattle Range residents are entitled to full, free use of all the libraries with the Wattle Range Regional Library area.
Membership of the West Torrens Library Service is free and there is no age limit.

Whyalla City Council provides library services from one central location, which is now located in Ekblom Street.
In addition to lending fiction and non-fiction books the library also lends paper backs, cassettes, CD's, magazines, videos, DVD's, CD -ROMs, hear a books and LOTE books.
Free Internet Access is available, either one hour bookings or 15 minute sessions are offered. Bookings are required. All terminals carry a full suite of word processing software and are print, disc and USB enabled.
