SA Writers' Centre

Located in the heart of Adelaide, the SA Writers Centre is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to foster, develop and promote writers and writing. The Centre, which has more than 1200 members, was the first of its kind in Australia and continues to act as a resource for people of all ages and experiences, assisting both new and established writers on every aspect of craft and publishing.    

SALA Festival

The South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival, is the largest visual arts festival in Australia and it's FREE. Expose yourself to photography, craft, ceramics, paintings, textiles, sculpture, glass, mixed mediums and so much more throughout traditional and non-traditional venues. Reaching across the city of Adelaide to the Barossa Valley, Limestone Coast and Eyre Peninsula and beyond SALA is a brilliant blend of local produce, local talent and loving art. SALA Festival is held in August.
