Adelaide Alpine Horns

The Alphorn is a Swiss National Instrument and originally used by cow-herds tending their herds in the mountains during summer months.

It was usually sounded at sunset to let distant family know they were alright and also tunes were created to play to other distant cow-herds to combat loneliness. Many of these tunes have become traditional Swiss folk music. These Alphorns create interest wherever they appear together with their haunting sounds.
