Steve Sheehan is a comedian and performance maker. He is a graduate of Flinders University Drama Centre and studied clown at Ecole Philippe Gaulier (UK/France). He was the winner of the national Raw Comedy competition in 2003 and creates small scale comedic works for Cabaret Festivals, Fringe Festivals and Comedy Festivals. His show Stevl and His Translator Fatima won the Best comedy Award at the 2010 Adelaide Fringe and went on to Melbourne and Brisbane Comedy Festivals and Perth and Sydney Fringe as well as a seasons in the Garden of Unearthly Delights and Desert Fringe in Port Augusta.

Steve was commissioned as one of six artists to create a work for Window World, a free event for 2013 Adelaide Fringe. His contribution was called Not a Nativity Play – a 10-minute work for five-year olds performing the Fourteen Stations of the Cross. His latest show Steve Sheehan's Tristan and Isolde premiered at the 2015 Adelaide Cabaret Festival and brings together a comedian, a 70-year-old soprano and a real live miniature horse in a cabaret version of Wagner's grand opera.
