Ghosts, Toast and the Things Unsaid
Sandpit creates immersive, personal experiences that change people. We place audiences right at the centre of interactive experiences that connect physical things to the digital world. Sandpit was founded in 2012 and is a collaboration between Creative Directors Sam Haren and Dan Koerner, and Technical Director Robin Moyer who between them have diverse experience in creating live events, screen media, digital content and developing new technologies.
Sandpit has designed multiplatform extensions for feature films 52 Tuesdays, The Boy Castaways, and a campaign for Hopscotch’s release of feature film Now You See Me.
Sandpit have created extensions for TV series MY:24 and You’re Skitting Me, and has directed an interactive audio tour experience I, Animal for Melbourne Zoo.
Sandpit recently created Ghosts, Toast and the Things Unsaid, a digital theatre experience in collaboration with Google’s Creative Lab in Sydney. We have also recently launched The Story of Lamp, magically bringing lamps to life at Arts Centre Melbourne. In 2017 we also created Muru View, mapping indigenous place names in New South Wales to coincide with NAIDOC week for the State Library of New South Wales’ DX Lab.
